About African Communities Public Health Coalition

The mission of the ACPHC is to improve personal and community health and wellness within the African immigrant community by increasing the availability of culturally relevant physical and mental health services, providing education to reduce the stigma of physical and mental illness, and facilitating social justice through advocacy. Acknowledging there are gaps between the needs of African immigrants and existing services, the African Coalition has developed an African-centered approach to addressing these gaps.
